Recipes using sugarcane juice

1. Homemade Sugarcane Juice

Ingredients -

1 sugarcane

1 tbsp ginger chopped

Lemon juice to taste

Black salt to taste

Recipe-

Chop the sugarcane into small pieces after peeling the skin.
In a sugarcane juice machine extract juice and combine all the ingredients. Mix them well.
Put the puree in a glass, strain it and set it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Serve chilled.
If you’re sick of drinking basic sugarcane juice every day, you can turn it into different drinks or use it to flavour food.

2. Sugarcane and Ginger Slush

Ingredients -

1 tbsp ginger juice

5 cups sugarcane juice

Salt to taste

½ tbsp lemon juice

½ cup powdered sugar

Recipe-

Mix all the mentioned ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Put the mixture into the shallow container of aluminium and freeze it for five hours.
Mix all of the mentioned ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

3. Sugarcane and Kiwi Mocktail

Ingredients -

1 cup sugarcane juice

1 Kiwi

1 cup tender coconut water

1-inch piece of ginger

2 tsp lemon juice

Recipe-

Remove the kiwi’s skin and chop it into medium-sized chunks. Peel and chop ginger finely.
Mix kiwi, ginger, and lemon juice with coconut water in a mixer. Add sugarcane juice and serve chilled.

4. Watermelon Sugarcane Mocktail

Ingredients -

1 Glass of watermelon juice

1 Glass of sugarcane juice

1/2 Tsp lime juice

1 Bottle lime based soda

Ice cubes as required

Recipe-

Prepare watermelon juice by peeling the watermelon, removing the seeds, and adding it to a juicer without adding water. Prepare the juice and reserve.
Add lime juice as per your taste to the watermelon and sugar cane juice in a large mixing bowl, and mix well.
Pour half the juice into a tumbler with ice cubes, then fill the other half with sprite and serve immediately.

5. Orange Mojito – Non Alcoholic Drink

Ingredients -

10 Leaves Mint

1 Cup Orange Juice

1 Cup Sugarcane Juice

1/4 Tsp Red Chilli Powder

2 Slice Orange

2 Slice Lemon

2 Cubes Ice

Recipe-

Add mint leaves to a mortar pestle and muddle.
Divide the muddled leaves evenly between two glasses and pour into each one. Add red chilli powder as per taste. On top of leaves and chilli powder, add crushed ice.
Add ½-½ cup orange juice and sugarcane juice to this.
To garnish, add fresh lemon and orange slices. If you want, you can also add some herbs like rosemary.
